Marathi Actor Ravindra Mahajani Found Dead in Pune



Renowned Marathi actor-director Ravindra Mahajani, an esteemed personality in the film industry, was discovered deceased at a rented apartment located in the vicinity of Talegaon Dabhade near Pune.



Tragic Demise

In a distressing incident, the lifeless body of the 77-year-old actor was found on Friday evening, with indications suggesting that he had passed away approximately three days prior to the discovery. The local police were alerted by concerned neighbors of the apartment, who had noticed a foul odor emanating from his residence. Promptly responding to the call, the police arrived at the scene and forcibly entered the flat, where they discovered the lifeless body of Ravindra Mahajani.


Preliminary Investigation

According to a senior official from the Talegaon Dabhade police station, the actor had been residing alone in the apartment where he was found. "Upon reaching the apartment, it was evident that Mr. Mahajani had tragically expired," stated the police official. The exact cause of death is yet to be determined, pending further investigation. However, it is suspected that he had passed away approximately three days prior to the discovery of his body.
